The Gift of Kashi

On the banks of the Narmada River, Sage Vishwanar and his wife Shuchismati prayed intensely in Kashi for a child. Pleased by their pure devotion, blessed them by incarnating as their son, whom named Grihapati. The boy mastered all scriptures by age six. However, at age nine, Sage Narada revealed a tragic astrological prediction: Grihapati was destined to face an early demise due to a planetary threat involving fire.
