Lord Vayu

वायु

Vāyu

Vāyu is the cosmic breath and universal life-force — the macrocosmic counterpart of prāṇa in the human body. He fathered Hanumān through Añjanā and Bhīma through Kuntī, gifting both sons his prodigious speed and strength. In the Kena Upaniṣad, called Mātariśvan, he cannot even blow a single blade of grass away without Brahman's power. In classical yoga physiology, the five prāṇa-vāyus (prāṇa, apāna, samāna, vyāna, udāna) are the internal expressions of the same universal wind he governs outside.
