The Pinch of Devotion

Following the grand coronation of Sri in Ayodhya, noticed Mother Sita applying a streak of orange-red powder (Sindoor) to the parting of her hair during her morning routine. Filled with innocent curiosity, bowed and asked, 'O Mother, why do you apply this colorful powder to your forehead?' Sita smiled warmly at his innocence and replied, 'My dear , this is a symbol of love and devotion. Applying it ensures the long life, health, and prosperity of your master, Sri .'
